The Lamač Oktoberfest will take place at Malokarpatské Square over the weekend from 18 to 20 October 2024. You can look forward to craft beers and well-known brands, grilled goodies, entertainment for children and a musical programme.

What is Oktoberfest?
Oktoberfest is a famous festival that takes place annually in Munich, Germany and traditionally runs from the end of September to the first weekend in October. It is one of the world’s largest beer festivals, attracting millions of visitors from all over the world. The event originally began in 1810 as a royal wedding celebration for Crown Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese of Bavaria. Today, Oktoberfest offers a wide range of attractions including amusement rides, games, traditional food (such as pretzels, sausages and roast chickens) and, of course, large tents serving a variety of beers, primarily from Munich breweries. The festival is also known for its lively atmosphere, traditional music and cultural events that celebrate Bavarian heritage. Although the most famous Oktoberfest takes place in Munich, many cities around the world organise their own versions of the festival.
