Science Night is the largest science festival in Slovakia and brings unique news and presentations from the world of research and innovation. The festival takes place not only in Bratislava, but also in Banská Bystrica, Žilina, Poprad and Košice on Friday, September 26, 2025.
This year too, you can look forward to fascinating lectures, discussions, interactive presentations and experiments, workshops, technological attractions and digital activities.
The largest science festival in Slovakia will bring the fascinating world of science, research and innovation – understandable, engaging and for everyone!
This year’s theme is CHAOS! 🦋
At first glance, the world seems full of coincidences – from the weather to the movement of the planets to the flow of information in the digital age. However, science shows that behind this apparent chaos there are clear principles.
The main program takes place in Bratislava, where you will be able to learn more about chaos throughout the day at scientific stands, and after the official opening, the climax will come – the evening block “Architecture of Chaos – From Planetary Orbits to the Digital World”, which will take you from cosmic equations and the butterfly wing effect to the fall of the Mayan civilization and today’s digital chaos of data.
The main program will take place in Bratislava in Stará Tržnica, but you can also look forward to an interesting program in V-club, Lab.cafe, Polish Institute.
