Night of Science Bratislava

Science Night is the largest science festival in Slovakia and features unique news and presentations from the world of research and innovation. The festival will take place not only in Bratislava, but also in Banská Bystrica, Žilina, Poprad, and Košice on Friday, September 25, 2026.

Once again this year, you can look forward to fascinating lectures, discussions, interactive presentations and experiments, workshops, tech attractions, and digital activities.

The main theme of the 20th annual event is “The Power of Science: How We Can Shape Our Future.”

We will explore how science helps us not only understand the world, but also make evidence-based decisions and actively shape our future.

Key thematic areas include AI and freedom of choice, space and innovation, and sustainability. Other prominent topics will include the reliability of information, misinformation, algorithms, and the impact of artificial intelligence on our decision-making.

The festival will showcase how science influences our daily lives, helps us better understand the world, and can contribute to solving the greatest challenges of the future.

The main program will take place in Bratislava at Stará Tržnica, but you can also look forward to an exciting program at V-klub, Lab.cafe, and the UK Infocentrum.

Admission is free, but you must register for some lectures at nocvedy.sk, as capacity is limited.
