Put yourself in a good mood and dance by the fountain. Every Wednesday, the Družba fountain becomes a meeting place for enthusiasts of couple dances such as salsa, bachata, and kizomba. However, the main purpose of the event is free dancing under the open sky, which always starts at 6:15 p.m. and lasts until 10:00 p.m.
This original event introduces the general public and dance enthusiasts to various dance styles and features performances and group dancing led by local and foreign instructors.
This event was created with the aim of supporting the cultural and social life of Bratislava and bringing the joy of dance to the streets of the capital.
Regular meetings of dancers of Latin-American dances such as salsa, bachata and kizomba are accompanied by animations of dance school instructors for those who would like to try these dances.
This year, Wednesdays will once again be dedicated to dancing, great music, good vibes, and fun under the open sky by the fountain.💃
What can you look forward to?

A varied program will be provided by:

🎧 great salsa, bachata, and kizomba rhythms performed by DJ LowBeat
🩺 Medical assistance will be available throughout the event.
We would like to thank the main partner of the event, Savage Garden Restaurant & Bar, BKIS, and the city of Bratislava.
The event takes place on Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. from June to September. Weather permitting, dancing will take place at the Družba fountain on June 4, 18, and 25; July 2, 16, 23, and 30; August 6, 20, and 27; and September 3, 17, and 24, 2025.
Come and experience the magical atmosphere of the open-air dance hall on Freedom Square and watch dance demonstrations by experienced Slovak and foreign instructors.
