Amadeus new ballet by Jan Ďurovčík

Amadeus – new ballet by Jan Ďurovčík in Modra. Slovak Dance Theatre presents a new ballet AMADEUS inspired by the story of the genius composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and directed by Jan Ďurovčík. Ďurovčík is a respected director of musicals, but in addition to them he is also a modern stage ballet director. With his Slovak Dance Theatre he has already achieved many successes at home and abroad. He is currently presenting a unique performance of Amadeus – a ballet inspired by the story of the genius Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

The production does not capture the life of the genius in its entirety, it is an emotional representation through stage dance with a minimum of words. “This is a production I’ve been preparing for probably my whole life. Until I told myself I could do Mozart already. It’s also a bit educational, one learns about Mozart as he was,” explains Ďurovčík.

You can see this unique ballet work at the Modra Cultural Centre on 7 April 2024 at 19:00. Tickets are on sale online at ticketportal.sk, the last pieces are still available at the KC Modra office.
