Ružinov Feast

Ružinov feast festivities will again this year be marked by concerts and good food! The Ružinov Feast Festival, which will take place on 28 and 29 September 2024 in Bratislava’s Ružinov, will bring a traditionally rich programme.

Well-known names and musical groups will perform. There will be refreshment stands and activities for children.

In addition to musical surprises, there will also be stalls with a wide range of refreshments. Visitors will be able to enjoy a selection of traditional Slovak dishes as well as international gastronomic delicacies.

The organisers of the Ružinov Feast Festival have not forgotten the youngest visitors. Children’s attractions and various entertainment programmes will be prepared so that children can enjoy the Ružinov Feast together with their parents.

This year the festivities bring fantastic musical experiences, the highlight of which will be the performance of the legendary band from the 90s – Fun Factory!

This German pop band, famous for hits like “Celebration” or “I Wanna B with U,” is returning to the Slovak scene after many years to dance not only for the old but also for the younger generations. Their concert is scheduled for Saturday, September 28 at 8:45 p.m. and is sure to bring a dose of nostalgia and unforgettable energy.

“The Ružinov Feast is one of the most beautiful traditions in our city district and during the two days there is something for everyone. Attractive concerts will also be part of the programme this time. Children can look forward to the popular Miro Jaroš and Smejko and Tanculienka, and for others we have Dara Rolins, Dalibor Janda and the star of the final concert will be Fun Factory. I believe that this time Ružinov residents and visitors from the surrounding area will also enjoy the feast and feel good here, because that’s exactly what we want to do – to create a space where they can feel like a real community.” said the Mayor of Ružinov, Martin Chren.

The programme of the first day of the festivities will be opened at 15:00 by the popular children’s singer Miro Jaroš, followed by the cheerful duo Smejko and Tanculienka.

The evening entertainment will be provided by Igor Kmet’o Jr. with his R&B style, and the legend of the Czechoslovak pop scene Dalibor Janda with the group Prototyp, who will perform at 7:15 pm. The highlight of the evening will be Fun Factory, who will perform at 20:45 and take us back to the era of neon colours and Eurodance hits!

Sunday, September 29: Traditional tunes and contemporary mega star

The second day will start at 15:00 with the Karpaty Folklore Ensemble, who will bring traditional Slovak music and dance. For the little ones, there is a concert by Spievankova at 16:00, while the energetic band Le Payaco will kick off the evening programme and the popular singer Dara Rolins will round off the evening with her hits. Throughout the event you will be accompanied by charming presenters Martina Comisso and Richard Vrablec.

Entertainment, food and carousels

In addition to the musical delights, you can enjoy traditional refreshment stalls with a wide range of homemade delicacies and drinks. On Saturday, in front of DK Ružinov, there will be entertainment on carousels and in Wetzler Park, the #BeActive Night zone will open from 15:00 to 18:00 for all movement enthusiasts. On Sunday, the feast festivities will begin with a festive Holy Mass at 11:00 am in St. Vincent’s Church. Afterwards, there will again be an opportunity to use the carousel in front of DK Ružinov, and in Wetzler Park there will be an Inflatable Zone for children from 15:00 to 18:00 completely free of charge.

The Ružinov Feast Festival is one of the most popular cultural events in Bratislava, and every year attracts thousands of visitors not only from the city, but also from the surrounding area. Their rich programme and great atmosphere make this event a real hit for all those who like to spend time in pleasant company, good music and delicacies.
