PRIDE Bratislava 2022

Rainbow PRIDE Bratislava festival returns to the city centre! ?️??️⚧ Concerts of Slovak bands will be interspersed with speeches of personalities supporting equality of the LGBTI community. The colourful parade through the city will be bigger than ever.

The 12th edition of the Rainbow PRIDE Bratislava festival will take place in the summer of 2022. The festival will be combined with a month of side events (min. 15 events e.g. discussions, workshops, film screenings, exhibitions, theatre, music and dance performances). The festival will culminate in a concert on Hviezdoslav Square and a parade through the city on 23 July 2022. We are using the increased media attention to report on the situation of LGBTI people in Slovakia and proposed improvements. The month of PRIDE events also provides an overview of cultural works written by LGBTI people or thematizing the life experiences of LGBTI people. The aim of our activity is to raise awareness of the life, culture and problems of the LGBTI community in Slovakia among the general public.
