Bagbet SWAP Bratislava

Many of you already know and love SWAPping. It’s the perfect opportunity to refresh your wardrobe.

SWAP (swap) clothing is a sustainable way of shopping that allows you to get new pieces of clothing without having to buy new ones.

Bring in clothes that didn’t fit in your wardrobe. We SWAP women’s, men’s and children’s clothing, shoes and accessories. You can bring a maximum of 2 bags. You will be able to take anything you like from SWAP.

We will SWAP on January 14 (Sunday) from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

BAGBET SWAP in Kácečko will take place at Kamenné Námestí 1/a, 811 06 Bratislava. Kácečko is located on the 4th floor of the PRIOR department store, entrance at the back from the private parking lot.

The number of tickets is limited. Book them online or directly at the venue on the day of the event.

Join us and experience something new. We are looking for volunteers for the BAGBET SWAP event at the New Cvern. If you are interested in ecology and responsible consumption.

What clothes can I bring to the Swap?

You can bring nice, clean and undamaged clothes to SWAP. One that you would give to a friend of yours.

Can I bring dirty and damaged clothes?

You can throw dirty and damaged clothes into textile containers (Humana, Ekocharita Slovakia), which are located in many places in Bratislava. These companies can sort the clothes in the right way and the fastest way is to hand over the damaged and dirty clothes to a fogged recycler. Subsequently, these textiles are used to make insulation for buildings or cars. You can find out more about where the clothes from the collection containers go on the companies’ websites.

Where do the UNSWAPPED clothes go?

Clothes that do not find a new owner go to the sorting company Ekocharita Slovakia, which sorts the clothes and gives them to community centres, recycling companies and the rest goes to secondhand shops, where the clothes get back to the consumers.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO BRING CLOTHES TO THE SWAP WITHOUT PAYING THE ENTRY FEE IF I DON’T WANT TO TAKE ANYTHING BACK HOME?

It is not possible to just bring clothes to SWAP without paying the entrance fee. If you have clothes at home that no longer serve you and you want to get rid of them for free, you can use the textile collection containers. Worn clothes from these are handed over to recycling companies after sorting.

CAN I SELL MY CLOTHES ON SWAP?

SWAP is a platform where clothes are exchanged. It is not possible to sell clothes on SWAP.
