Ružinov carnival

Ružinov carnivals will enliven the Miletičova Marketplace with tradition and gastronomy.

Ružinov is preparing for the traditional carnival at the most famous marketplace in Bratislava. It will take place on 10 February 2024 from 9:00 am at Miletička.

PROGRAMME:

09:00 – FS Devín
10:00 – FS Karpaty – carnival parade
11:30 – Bukasový Masív
13:00 – Gipsy Čáve

The Ružinov carnival will bring a cultural programme for all visitors, including homemade killing specialities and a demonstration of meat products.

“The Miletičovo marketplace is loved not only by Ružinov residents, but by people from all over Bratislava. That is why I am glad that the Ružinov carnivals are held in Miletička. It is an opportunity for all of us to meet and experience something pleasant in a place without which many of us cannot imagine Saturday mornings.” said the Mayor of Ružinov, Martin Chren.

A programme for foodies:

One of the main attractions of the Ružinov carnival will be a rich selection of homemade killing specialties from Urbánek – Mäso Lahôdky, which will delight your taste buds. Visitors will have the opportunity to taste traditional meat products and watch demonstrations of their production on the spot. This part of the programme promises an unforgettable experience for all gourmets and lovers of traditional Slovak cuisine.

A cultural treat:

In addition, visitors will be offered a cultural programme with the participation of great musical groups. Talented bands such as Gipsy Čáve and Bukasový masív will perform on stage. These bands will bring energetic music and moving tones to Ružinov, which will make the atmosphere more pleasant and give visitors the opportunity to enjoy authentic music from different musical genres.
Exceptional dance and music performances by FS Karpaty and FS Devín, full of folklore and traditions, will add authenticity and a cheerful atmosphere to the event.
