At Home Among the Planets

At Home Among the Planets is a family festival celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Ďáblice Observatory.
The festival takes place outdoors and will last all weekend, from Friday, September 11, through Sunday, September 13.
Illuminated models of the solar system’s celestial bodies will be set up in the park next to the observatory, and they’ll take center stage during a theatrical performance on Saturday.
Among other things, you’ll be able to take part in a science show full of fascinating experiments that will help you not only understand physics but also experience it firsthand.
Throughout the event, you’ll enjoy experiences that combine science, imagination, and movement, so you’re sure to take home wonderful memories and new insights.
The highlight of the program will be the lighting of the planets and the theatrical performance “Between Worlds” presented by the V.O.S.A. Theatre troupe.
