Letňany carnival

On Saturday, February 8, 2025, the traditional Carnival celebration organized by Prague 18 Municipality will take place in Letňany.

The Carnival will offer a rich program for both children and adults, a cheerful mask parade, live music, competitions, and a wide selection of traditional Carnival treats.

The program starts at 10:30 with a welcome in front of the town hall, where participants and masks will gather. At 11:00, the parade will set off through Letňany toward Stará Náves, where the main program full of fun and activities for the whole family will be prepared.

Program at Stará Náves:
11:30 Pražští pardálové: A musical performance to kick off the Carnival atmosphere.
11:40 Staropražští pardálové: Traditional melodies continuing the Carnival traditions.
12:10 Children’s Competition: A fun contest for the youngest with small prizes to win.
12:30 Sváťa’s Puppet Theatre: The Three Little Pigs: A beloved fairytale performance.
13:40 Best Costume Contest: Recognizing the most creative costumes.
14:50 Holokrci: An energetic musical finale.
In addition to the cultural program, visitors can enjoy pork feasts, Carnival refreshments, hot drinks, and other delicacies. For the youngest guests, there will be pony rides and entertaining performances by stilt walkers.

Bechyňská (from the town hall) → Beranových → Rychnovská → Kladrubská → Stará Náves

The Letňany Carnival is a great opportunity to enjoy a traditional celebration with family or friends. Organizers recommend visitors wear costumes and participate in the contest for the best costume.
