Banán Fest Prague

Experience a piece of Vietnamese culture here in Prague during this October’s weekend with its 5th annual edition of Banana Fest.

The event will take place in Hybernská Campus on October 7, 2023, which will be transformed with the celebration of “Trung Thu” (more commonly referred to as the Mid-Autumn Festival).

Immerse yourself in the ambience of glowing lanterns, the sound children’s laughter and a rich gastronomic experience – we have prepared all of this for you at our festival of Vietnamese culture. Learn about our rich culture and traditions from the perspective of a second-generation Vietnamese immigrant, also known as “banana children”.

We have prepared a varied program that includes food, dance performances, panel discussions interactive workshops.

Taste traditional Vietnamese dishes such as mooncake, which is associated with this holiday. Discover with us the magic of traditional dances and music, come and try painting lanterns or figurines at various workshops or listen to interesting discussions with experts and representatives from the second generation of Vietnamese.
