The 16th edition of the Čajomír Fest will take place from 16 to 18 August 2024 in the picturesque surroundings of the Kocáby River Valley. You can look forward to tea tasting from all over the world, music and dance performances, workshops and a rich market with Czech teas and ceramics. The event is designed for the whole family, with the opportunity to taste healthy dishes from different parts of the world. On 30 and 31 August 2024, Prague will once again become the centre of gothic culture during the 19th Prague Gothic Treffen. This two-day event takes place in the Fuchs2 and Bike Jesus clubs, where a rich programme of dark music, great after parties and the traditional Gothic Picnic await. This year’s edition will welcome a unique headliner, the Swedish synthpop band S.P.O.C.K, who will present themselves to the Czech audience for the first time in 36 years. Other performers include Girls Under Glass (DE), Rue Oberkampf (DE), Alien Vampires (IT/UK) and more.
On August 6, 2024, QUEENIE will return to the Křižík Fountain in Prague to celebrate their 18th birthday during a summer tour of Czech and Moravian cities. The band, known for its faithful interpretation of Queen songs, has gained enormous popularity not only in the Czech Republic but also abroad, where it has sold out the O2 Arena in Prague five times. Enjoy an evening of great music from 15:00, featuring Mixle v Piksle, Wóďa, and Rudovous, with the highlight of the evening being a concert by Vypsana fixa at 19:30. The band, known for its energetic mix of punk, rock and pop, has become a key part of the Czech alternative scene since its formation in 1994.
