International Rose Show

Roses 2024 – International Rose Show. The International Rose Show is no longer a newcomer and will celebrate its fourth edition in 2024. After three successful editions, the “world of roses” will once again move to Ivanka by the Danube in early June.

The first exhibition was held in 2017 and over 3,500 visitors came to see it, the second exhibition was held in 2019 and over 6,400 visitors came to see us. With the third edition of the exhibition, the premises of the exhibition were expanded to include the Ivanka Church. The fourth exhibition will take the visitor experience to the next level again.

We cordially invite all lovers of roses, aesthetics, culture, musical performances and works of art to the fourth edition of the International Rose Exhibition, which will be held in the spirit of ROSE – A GUIDE THROUGH HISTORY.

The fourth edition will refer to the history of the Ivansky manor. After the first edition, which was dedicated to the last Hungarian family of rulers in Ivanka, the fourth edition will move even further into the past.

To a prominent person of Hungary from the time of Maria Theresa, Anton I. Grasalkovich. The native of Urmín was a close advisor to the monarch and was behind important palaces such as the Grasalkovich Palace in Bratislava, the Baroque Manor House in Gödöllő and, for example, the Manor House in our Ivanka on the Danube.

We decided to pay tribute to Anton Grasalkovič not only because his life is connected to our village, but we see the 3 roses in the Anton Grasalkovič coat of arms as a great link. The three roses will also link the whole communication of the exhibition and the main visual.
