We are approaching the most wonderful time of the year when we should be better to each other. The Christmas season starts for us with Christmas markets and fortunately Bratislava offers several of them, besides the Christmas markets in the Main Square, Dulák, Petržalka Christmas Markets, of course, the fun comes to Hviezdoslav Square as well.
The Old Town Christmas Market on Hviezdoslavovo Square begins on November 27, 2025, and lasts until December 23, 2025, with a short break, continuing from December 26, 2025, until January 6, 2026. Get ready for a true holiday atmosphere, delicious smells and tastes, handmade crafts, and unforgettable moments with friends and family.
What awaits you at the market?
Traditional stalls with unique products, christmas delicacies such as punch, mulled wine, lokše (potato pancakes), gingerbread cookies, and many other Christmas treats. Last but not least, a cultural program full of music and joy for all ages.
Visitors can look forward to a concert by the band Puding pani Elvisovej, the Jean Valjean Orchestra, entertainment with DJs, as well as workshops for families with children and new features in the Family Zone.
There will also be the popular Christmas slide, maze, carousel, and other surprises that will delight the youngest visitors.
For those who love traditional culinary delicacies, there will be stalls with a varied offer, and the rich selection will be complemented by the Christmas Street Food Zone.
The program will continue on New Year’s Eve.
