Ice skating at Eisring Süd

Eisring Süd in Vienna’s 10th district is one of the largest ice skating facilities in the city and offers both a spacious open-air area and a covered ice rink. Visitors can skate regardless of the weather – whether for leisure, ice hockey, sledge field hockey or simply for fun with family and friends.

The facility is located at Windtenstraße 2, 1100 Vienna and is easily accessible by public transport, for example via the U1 underground line (Altes Landgut station), streetcar line 1 or bus lines 15A and 65A. The season usually runs from fall/winter to the beginning of March; in the 2025/26 season, for example, until March 8, 2026. The opening hours of the outdoor rink are Monday to Friday from around 08:00 to 19:45, on weekends and public holidays from 10:00 to 19:45.

The ice rink is partly open earlier, partly in the afternoon and evening; on Sundays there is also a regular ice disco for young and old. Admission prices are moderate: adults pay around €9.50-10.50, young people €7.50-8.00 and children €3.50-4.00. If you come later in the day, you can benefit from evening discounts, e.g. adults from around 5:15 pm for around €7.

Ice skates can be rented on site, and ice hockey training, sledge field hockey and figure skating are also offered. The Eisring Süd is therefore the perfect place for winter fun in Vienna – whether for families, couples or sports enthusiasts who want to enjoy an active day on the ice.
