Afrika Tage Vienna

From August 14th to 24th, 2026 – one of the most vibrant and diverse cultural festivals in Central Europe will once again transform Vienna into a vibrant hub of African culture!

Afrika Tage (Africa Days) is an open-air festival of music, food, and products. You can expect not only a wide spectrum of genres—from energetic Afropop and reggae to jazz and traditional rhythms—but also a wide variety of African dishes and refreshments.

If you are looking for relaxation, Afrika Tage offers yoga sessions and wellness workshops, inviting you to slow down, reconnect, and experience holistic traditions inspired by African cultures and global healing practices.

Beyond this, you can enjoy dance workshops, fashion shows, traditional drumming circles, and even take your children for a camel or pony ride.

Last but not least, the festival is well-known for its market, featuring traditional African products ranging from cosmetics, clothes, and jewellery to musical instruments and other goods.

Easily accessible by Vienna’s public transport via the Handelskai or Neue Donau stations using the U6 subway or S-Bahn trains, Afrika Tage Wien provides a unique late-summer escape from everyday European life into a world full of positive energy, rhythm, and fascinating flavors.
