Vienna Art Week 2025

The theme of the year 2025 is “Learning Systems”. It deals with how people, societies and technologies learn, adapt and react to the digital age. Visitors can look forward to projects that deal with artificial intelligence, new forms of learning and the connection between art and technology.

Vienna Art Week 2025 will take place from November 7 to 14, 2025 at various locations throughout Vienna. During this week, the Austrian capital will be transformed into a vibrant center of contemporary art, connecting galleries, museums, studios and independent art spaces. The festival offers numerous exhibitions, discussions, performances, workshops and open studios, giving visitors a direct insight into the artistic creative process.

The MuseumsQuartier (MQ) traditionally serves as the main center of the festival, but many other well-known venues such as Albertina Modern, Kunsthalle Wien or Belvedere 21 also take part. Over 70 institutions are involved in Vienna Art Week, and each year the event attracts more than 35,000 visitors. Most events are free of charge or only accessible with a symbolic entrance fee, making the festival open to a wide audience.

Vienna Art Week is therefore a unique opportunity to experience Vienna as a city of creativity, innovation and open dialogue between art, technology and society.
