Kaiser Wiesn Beer Festival

From September 24 to October 11, 2026, the Kaiserwiese in the Prater will once again transform into a hub of traditional attire, music, culinary delights, and high spirits.

When the aroma of pretzels, roasted pork knuckles, and freshly tapped beer wafts through the Prater, all of Vienna knows: the Kaiser Wiesn is back! Amidst traditional tunes, rustic festival tents—such as the Gösser and Wiesbauer tents—and lively alpine-style huts perfect for dancing, visitors can experience an authentic festival atmosphere right in the heart of the city.

– 5 rustic alpine-style huts offering a cozy atmosphere
– A large open-air area with stages, stalls, and food—free to access
– Over 700 hours of live music throughout the festival
– Top acts and live bands such as Mountain Crew, Die Lauser, Die Südsteirer, Wiener Wahnsinn, and the Dirndl Rocker

On the culinary front, you can look forward to typical specialties such as:

– “Stelze” (roasted pork knuckle)
– Pretzels
– Sausages & “Käsekrainer” (cheese-filled sausages)
– Vegan and vegetarian options
– Sweet treats like apple strudel and *Kaiserschmarrn*
– And, of course, plenty of fresh beer!

Access to the open-air area is free during the day.
