Your favorite beer festival is finally back! On June 29, the Ottakringer Brewery will turn again into the home of the most popular beer festival in Vienna for 2 months! An interesting program has been prepared to please all beer lovers. Come to Ottakringerplatz from Monday to Saturday and enjoy all kinds of exclusive, unique, freshly tapped beers right in the courtyard of the brewery in Vienna. In addition, the most delicious street foods will be offered at various places. The highlight of the festival will be a unique BEER YOGA. Well, what do you say to that? Interesting, isn’t it?

Over 300 parishes and communities all over Austria, as well as Christian organizations and institutions, have once again prepared an interesting program for their churches full of church music, talks and other events. The Südwind Street Festival takes place this year for a whole weekend in the first week of June! The Südwind Street Festival is a colorful mix of party, sustainable and fair shopping and a platform to get to know different associations in the courtyard of the campus of the University of Vienna. From the beginning of June, Austria’s brewers will be celebrating “everything to do with beer” at this year’s beer festival in the middle of downtown Vienna. The Austrian beer landscape is more diverse than ever and will show visitors what the brewing industry has to offer. In addition, there will be an appealing supporting program and gastronomic delicacies from all over Austria. In the heart of Vienna’s city center, 43 breweries will offer around 200 different types of beer, framed by daily beer keg tappings, early morning pours and live acts!

The annual summer night concert in front of Schönbrunn Palace will take place on the 8th of June. With free admission, you can simply walk into the Schönbrunn garden, find a seat in the audience and listen to the music on what will hopefully be a warm and pleasant summer night. Visitors can enjoy songs such as Bizet’s Habanera, Ravel’s Boléro, or even Gaunod’s O ma lyre immortelle. The conductor of this year’s Summer Night Concert is Yannick Nézet-Séguin.
The 40th Danube Island Festival will take place, as always, on the last weekend in June. This year’s program will be even more colorful, diverse, interactive and of course inclusive than before. You can look forward to a wonderful time listening to music from different genres and discovering new artists. Just in time for the beginning of summer, the Danube Island will host three days of international and national music, culture, sports and fun.
