Kunstwollen Festival Vienna

The Art History Festival provides you with the opportunity to interact with artworks and various art historical topics on-site, in museums, galleries, and public spaces: – to interact with works of art and various art historical topics outside of everyday university life, directly on-site, in the museum, in the gallery, and in public space, – to look behind the scenes of important institutions and projects in Vienna’s art and cultural landscape, and to become acquainted with a diverse range of artists and cultural institutions.

The programme includes approximately 30 different individual events that take place throughout Vienna. Simply pick one of them and enjoy art in its purest form to the fullest!

Registration and Festival tickets EXPLAINED:

You can participate in the kunst.wollen festival in two different ways:

On the one hand, you can buy a VöKK membership, which costs 20€ for festival participants and is valid for one calendar year. However, you can only buy this membership if you are currently studying art history. It allows you to participate in all programme points of the festival as well as other advantages. The VöKK membership can only be paid by bank transfer.

If you are not studying art history, you can purchase a festival pass (without VöKK membership). This is available to everyone. It also costs 20€ and allows you to participate in all programme points during the festival, provided you have registered for them. The amount for the festival pass can also only be paid this year by bank transfer to:
