On Saturday, September 26, the first annual Mycelium Market—a community market focused on creativity, nature, and a slightly fairy-tale-like atmosphere—will take place at Peškovka in Prague.
The organizers are putting it together as a new gathering for people who enjoy creativity, forest and fantasy aesthetics, and original products from small-scale creators.
The market will feature, for example, Arcádia, Dutohlávka, Elvenlune, Od Jezinky, cins.len.kate, and shy.fern.creation.
The event builds on the organizers’ previous “fairy gatherings,” but this time it takes the form of the first Mycelium Market. In addition to shopping and discovering creative works, an important part of the event will be the community itself and bringing together people with shared interests.
The event also has a charitable aspect. Together with visitors, the organizers want to support the organization Za sklem, which helps people with autism spectrum disorders. Visitors can contribute, for example, by purchasing a higher-priced ticket option.
