Kramář Villa, which today serves as the official residence of the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, opens to the public only a few times a year. On Saturday, August 1, 2026, you’ll have a unique opportunity to tour the stately interiors of this exceptional building and its expansive garden, which offers a magnificent view of Prague.
Kramář Villa was built for the first Czechoslovak Prime Minister, Karel Kramář, and his wife, Naděžda. It is one of Prague’s most distinctive villas, blending elements of Neo-Baroque and Art Nouveau. During the guided tour, you’ll visit, for example, the dining room, the Golden Salon, Karel Kramář’s study, and the billiards room, and you’ll learn interesting facts about the villa’s history and its former residents.
Tours during the open house days will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; the garden will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Indoor tour route: dining room, Golden Salon, Karel Kramář’s study, billiards hall. The tour ends in the garden with a view of Prague. The last tour departs at 5:00 p.m.
