Science Film Festival Prague

The Prague Science Film Festival 2026 will take place from October 19 to 22, 2026, at the Czech University of Life Sciences campus in Prague 6, bringing together the very best of popular science documentaries from around the world.

This international festival, which bridges the worlds of science and film, offers four days full of inspiring screenings, engaging discussions, and encounters with leading figures from both the Czech and international scientific communities. Visitors can look forward to a carefully curated selection of films rarely shown in cinemas — stories that reveal science in all its beauty, depth, and complexity.

Each screening will feature not only the film itself but also an introduction and a post-screening debate with filmmakers and scientists who will provide unique insights into the creative process and current scientific topics. The festival thus creates a space for sharing knowledge, fostering curiosity, and encouraging dialogue between experts and the public.

All events are free of charge — attendees only need to register online or directly at the festival venue, in the foyer of the university’s Aula, where festival wristbands will be available.
