The Sherlock Holmes exhibition is a unique, interactive experience that takes visitors into the world of Sherlock Holmes, Victorian London, and the early days of modern forensic science. Rather than a traditional museum, it is designed as a detective adventure where you solve clues and take part in the investigation.
What can you look forward to?
More than 200 authentic exhibits related to Sherlock Holmes, Arthur Conan Doyle, and Victorian detective work.
Interactive detective challenges where you examine evidence, decode clues, and solve mysteries.
A reconstruction of 221B Baker Street, the famous home of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson.
An exhibition on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, including his life, medical career, and the inspiration behind the creation of Holmes.
An exhibit showing how Holmes’s fictional investigative methods influenced the development of real forensic science.
A section exploring the vast cultural legacy of Sherlock Holmes through films, television, books, and memorabilia.
Is the exhibition suitable for children?
Yes. The exhibition is designed for families as well as adult Sherlock Holmes enthusiasts. Interactive puzzles and a detective’s notebook make it particularly engaging for children (ages 8 and up) and teenagers.
Practical information:
Photography is permitted for personal use (no flash).
The exhibition is wheelchair accessible.
Tickets can be purchased online or at the venue (subject to availability).
If you’re visiting Prague for a few days, this exhibition is a great complement to other literary and historical attractions, especially if you enjoy detective novels, criminal history, or immersive museum experiences.
