DAS SOMMERKINO in Prague

DAS SOMMERKINO 2026 will bring the best of German-language cinema to Czech summer theaters from July 2 to August 22, 2026.

This summer won’t be all about Hollywood blockbusters. The DAS FILMFEST 2026 festival invites audiences to enjoy a selection of award-winning German-language films, which will be screened outdoors in Prague, Brno, and Ústí nad Labem throughout July and August. The program features the latest films, award-winning festival selections, and cult classics.

You can look forward, for example, to the poetic film *Perfect Days* by director Wim Wenders, the documentary *Riefenstahl*, the historical drama *Franz* by Agnieszka Holland, the comedy *Two to One*, and the legendary silent horror film *Nosferatu*, which will be screened with a live musical accompaniment. All films will be shown in their original language with Czech subtitles.
