Signal Festival 2025 will take place in Prague from October 16 to 19, 2025, presenting the 13th edition of the largest cultural event in the Czech Republic that connects contemporary art, technology, and public space.
For four evenings, the city’s historic landmarks, squares, and hidden corners will be transformed into a glowing open-air gallery.
This year’s theme is Solutions, reflecting the interconnectedness of a world where technology, nature, and humanity form one whole. Visitors can look forward to art installations, video mappings, and projections by Czech and international artists. Once again, the festival will feature two main routes – the City Centre and Vinohrady.
The program will include a monumental video installation by Bill Viola at the Church of St. Salvator in the Convent of St. Agnes, the immersive projection Mist by Robert Seidel at Clam-Gallas Palace, and a unique water screen projection on Dvořák’s Embankment by the Taiwanese studio Peppercorns. A visual highlight will be the video mapping by Italian studio mammasONica on the Old Town Hall tower, as well as the return of the popular format to the Basilica of St. Ludmila at Náměstí Míru, presented by the Spanish studio V.P.M.
The program also includes Signal Inside, the ticketed part of the festival held in striking interiors. Here, visitors will experience a more intimate atmosphere and often become direct participants in the artworks – from the interactive installation by Dutch artist Roelof Knol at Hybernská Campus to the dance-light performance Lone Soul Disco by Viktor Konvalinka and Štěpán Benyovszký at Tresor Club.
The festival was founded by producer Martin Pošta and his team, who have been bringing the world’s top names in light design to Prague since 2013. Over the years, Signal Festival has become a symbol of autumn in Prague, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors from all over the world.
The 2025 edition promises an even richer program and unforgettable experiences that merge the city, art, and modern technology.
