Derby Gold Cup

On Sunday, September 13, 2026, the Horse Racing Gold Cup, a traditional race day that ranks among the highlights of the entire season, will take place at Chuchle Arena Prague (Prague 5).

From 2:00 p.m. to 6:15 p.m., spectators can look forward to nine thrilling races, including both flat races and hurdle races.

The highlight of the program will be the 20th annual EŽ Prague Gold Cup—a famous steeplechase over a 4,200-meter course. It is one of the longest and most generously prize-money-endowed steeplechases in the Czech Republic and attracts significant attention from experts and fans alike every year.

However, the program isn’t just for horse racing enthusiasts. It also caters to families with children, for whom a rich supporting program has been prepared. From 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, the little ones can ride ponies, watch rabbit-hopping demonstrations, and enjoy the children’s play area on the ground floor of the grandstand. Carousels and creative workshops offer additional entertainment.
