From Thursday, May 8, to Sunday, May 11, 2025, the area in front of the historic Písecká Gate in Prague 6 will come alive with the fifth edition of the popular Spring Wine Festival.
This spring celebration of flavors, aromas, and music will offer visitors four days full of fine wines, culinary delights, live music, and a pleasant atmosphere in a beautiful setting near Prague Castle.
Over the years, the festival has become a traditional way to welcome spring, bringing together wine lovers, food enthusiasts, and music fans. This year, visitors can look forward to a rich selection of wines from Moravia, Austria, Germany, Hungary, Spain, and France. Alongside the outstanding wine offerings, a gastronomic program will present carefully selected delicacies that pair perfectly with the wines.
The festival’s program is designed to appeal to visitors of all ages. In addition to tastings and culinary experiences, there will be a packed cultural lineup featuring live performances on stage every day. Guests can enjoy jazz, soul, folk, pop, and rock music. Confirmed performers include Chameleon Groove, Tibor Žida and his band, and Pole featuring Petr Skočdopole.
The festival’s grand finale will be a concert by world-renowned jazz trumpeter Laco Deczi and his band Celula New York, taking place on Sunday, May 11. This performance promises an unforgettable musical experience and a fitting close to the four-day spring celebration.
The Spring Wine Festival also thinks of its youngest visitors, offering interactive attractions and fun activities for children. Overall, the event creates a relaxed space for family outings as well as friendly gatherings over a glass of fine wine.
The festival will be open daily from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Admission is free, and tastings and food will be available for purchase at individual stalls.
