On Saturday, March 29, 2025, the 94th season of Prague Zoo will be officially opened.
This traditional day will offer visitors a full-day program filled with fun and special guests. The event will start at 10:00 and last until 16:00, featuring a variety of activities for the whole family.
Prague Zoo, with its rich history dating back to 1881, is not only home to thousands of animals but also a center for education and nature conservation. The first call for the establishment of the zoo came from Count Sweerts-Spork and was associated with the marriage of Prince Rudolf and Belgian Princess Stéphanie. Since then, Prague Zoo has become one of the most important places for nature and animal lovers in the Czech Republic.
This day will be filled with activities for all age groups, from zoo tours to special performances and meetings with exclusive guests. Come celebrate the new year at Prague Zoo and enjoy a day full of fun and admiration for the fascinating animals.
