Beats for Love 2025, July 2–5, Dolní Vítkovice, Ostrava – The eleventh edition of the largest electronic music festival in Central Europe will bring an unforgettable program full of global stars and unique premieres.

This four-day music marathon will become the epicenter of electronic music, featuring performances from top global DJs and artists.

About the Festival:

First held in 2013, the festival has built a strong reputation over the years and annually attracts tens of thousands of visitors not only from the Czech Republic but from all over the world. Each edition offers not only star-studded names from the electronic scene but also a rich accompanying program, an unforgettable atmosphere, and the unique environment of Ostrava’s Dolní Vítkovice, which gives the festival an unparalleled industrial character.

This Year:

This year’s edition will feature more than 400 artists across 13 stages, ensuring a wide variety of music genres – from house, techno, trance, and drum & bass to hardstyle and bass music. Headliners include legendary Dutch DJ and producer Armin van Buuren, British singer John Newman, Australian showman Timmy Trumpet, and Norwegian talent Ørjan Nilsen. The festival also focuses on underground artists and discovering new talents.

What’s New for 2025:

Beats for Love is introducing a revolutionary concept called Beats for Love Universe, which will completely transform the festival grounds. Organizers have announced the creation of three new themed zones – Love Sphere, Space Sphere, and Industrial Sphere, all connected by the main festival artery Pulse. Each zone will offer a unique design and atmosphere inspired by global festival trends.

Another major innovation is the Techno Dome by Proud, featuring a 360° stage where the DJ will perform in the center of the crowd. This groundbreaking setup will create a unique energy and connection with the music.

For the first time in history, Evropa 2 radio will broadcast live from the heart of the festival, offering fans exclusive interviews with DJs, contests, and special content.

The festival continues to offer cashless payments in collaboration with VISA, allowing for smooth and secure transactions throughout the venue.

The Beats for Charity initiative will once again enable festivalgoers to support individuals facing adversity. This year, the fundraiser is backed by ČEZ Group, which will contribute through its EPP Pomáhej pohybem app.

Among the additional activities is the third edition of the Talking Beats conference, featuring interesting speakers from the music and cultural industries.

The festival has also partnered with Kofola, which will introduce the Square of Love, where festival weddings and special matchmaking events will take place.

In the industrial heart of Ostrava, the best of the best will take the stage this year – and the artists will be the main attraction of this edition:

Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike – The Belgian brother duo will perform at Beats for Love for the very first time, and their show on the Love Stage promises to be one of the biggest highlights of the entire festival. Their energetic sets combining EDM, big room, and festival anthems are known worldwide. Visitors can look forward to a stunning light show, pyrotechnics, and moments that will resonate long after the festival ends.

John Summit – One of the hottest talents on the current electronic scene will experience his festival debut in the Czech Republic right at Beats for Love. His signature sound oscillates between house, tech house, and deep groove, with performances known for raw energy and intense build-ups. Fans can expect a show that reflects the current trends of the club scene in the best possible way.

Jax Jones – The English hitmaker and producer, known for hits like “You Don’t Know Me” and “Instruction,” will bring his signature style to the festival, blending pop, house, and R&B. His show will offer not only music but also a sophisticated visual aspect and dynamic performances that promise to be one of this year’s highlights.

Armin van Buuren – A global trance icon and one of the most respected DJs of all time will return to Ostrava with a set that will appeal to both long-time fans and a new generation of listeners. Armin is known for his precision, emotionally charged sets, and deep connection with the audience – and his performance on the main stage will be one of the most powerful.

Sub Focus – The drum and bass legend will bring his precise production and uncompromising energy to Dolní Vítkovice. Together with guests and exclusive visuals, he will create a performance that can shake every corner of the venue. Sub Focus regularly redefines genre boundaries, and Beats for Love will be the place where his set exceeds expectations once again.

A.M.C. & Koven – A unique B2B DJ set from these two names will take place only at Beats for Love and will be a world premiere. A.M.C. is known for his technical brilliance behind the decks, and Koven brings emotional melodies and strong vocals into the world of drum and bass. This combination promises a performance full of contrasts, dynamics, and surprises.

Timmy Trumpet – The Australian showman who blends electronic music with live elements will once again ignite the festival with his explosive energy. His iconic trumpet, extroverted style, and interaction with the audience turn each of his shows into an unforgettable event. This year, he’ll bring an even bigger show than ever before.

Richie Hawtin – A pioneer of minimal techno and a legend of the underground scene who constantly pushes boundaries not only musically but also technologically. At Beats for Love, he will perform on the new 360° stage Techno Dome by Proud, where he’ll present a deep and conceptual set that merges art, music, and space into one.

DJ Rush – A hard techno ride awaits all fans of raw industrial sound during his set. DJ Rush will bring his unmistakable energy, fast beats, and dark groove to Ostrava, guaranteed to move even the most stubborn listeners.

AXWELL – Swedish DJ and producer, member of the legendary group Swedish House Mafia, whose influence on the EDM scene is massive — and who remains one of the most respected DJs in the world to this day!
Among his major achievements are a Grammy Award nomination (2013), multiple wins at the DJ Awards — including “Best House DJ” (2010, 2011), regular placements in the Top 20 of the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll, and the “Best Swedish Act” award at the MTV European Music Awards (2010) with Swedish House Mafia. And that’s just a fraction of his success!
Together with Sebastian Ingrosso, he forms the duo Axwell Λ Ingrosso, known for massive hits like “More Than You Know” and “Sun Is Shining.” With Swedish House Mafia, he made history in dance music with tracks like “Don’t You Worry Child,” “Save the World,” and “One.”
His timeless megahits — such as “I Found U” or “Nothing But Love” — with tens of millions of streams, still set dancefloors on fire all over the world. And now, for the very first time, we’ll get to experience this megastar live at Beats for Love 2025!
