At Řezáčovo Square in Prague 7, also known as Heřmaňák, the regular Heřmaňák Farmers’ Market takes place every Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Offering a unique opportunity to purchase fresh, high-quality food directly from farmers at approximately 20–25 stalls.
The market features a wide variety of products, including:
Vegetables and fruits from organic orchards.
Milk and dairy products, including goat, cow, and sheep cheeses.
Fresh meat, sausages, and free-range eggs.
Bread, pastries, honey, spices, herbs, juices, and oils.
Cut flowers, homemade delicacies, and sweets.
Wine, beer, and excellent coffee – all in one place.
The Heřmaňák Farmers’ Market proudly operates plastic-free. You can bring your own containers, bags, or pouches for shopping, or use eco-friendly alternatives available on-site. All drinks are served exclusively in reusable glass or porcelain containers, which are washed and reused after use. You won’t find plastic bags, cups, or disposable plastic packaging here, making it a pioneer of sustainable shopping practices.
Heřmaňák is a member of the Czech Republic’s Farmers’ Market Association, ensuring the quality of the products offered and an ethical approach to their production and sale. The market’s pleasant atmosphere is enhanced by the opportunity to taste local specialties on-site.
The market is open every Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, except on the last Saturdays of the months from March to October.
