Mushroom Orienteering

If you love mushrooms and want to experience a unique activity where you can learn more about mushroom hunting, don’t hesitate to join the mushroom-hunting orienteering event.

The event will take place on October 10 in Stromovka Park and is open to individuals, pairs, and families with children. Participants will receive a map to guide them as they search the park for 10 stations equipped with mushroom baskets. At each station, they’ll find a card featuring a specific type of mushroom and a simple quiz to test their knowledge.

But it’s not just about finding all the checkpoints. The accuracy of your answers also affects your final time, so in addition to speed, you’ll need to put your mushroom knowledge to the test. You’ll have a 30-minute time limit to complete the entire course, and the most successful team can even win prizes from the event’s partners.

The meeting point is at 10:00 a.m. in front of the Vozovna restaurant in Stromovka, and the first team will set off at approximately 10:30 a.m. If you have a mushroom basket at home, don’t forget to bring it with you—one per team is enough. Before the results are announced, there will also be a short 100-meter race for the youngest children.
