Be2Can 2025 will take place in Prague from October 8 to 15, and for the twelfth time it will give audiences the chance to see a selection of the most interesting films from the prestigious festivals in Berlin, Venice, and Cannes.
The opening screening will traditionally be held at the legendary Lucerna Cinema, from where the festival will expand to other Prague cinemas.
The concept of Be2Can brings world-class films into Czech cinemas – works that reflect current aesthetic and social trends and highlight the direction of contemporary cinema. The festival aims to make arthouse films accessible to a wider audience and give them the recognition they deserve.
The selection is not limited to the portfolio of Film Europe Media Company – the main program is open to all distributors. Visitors can thus look forward to a diverse range of films that resonate at world festivals but often do not make it into standard distribution.
Over the years, Be2Can has become an established part of the Czech film scene, attracting movie lovers who want to experience the atmosphere of Berlinale, Venice, or Cannes directly in Prague.
