The premium rum tasting will take place on August 20, 2024, at 8:00 PM at La Casa de La Havana Vieja. This exclusive event is designed for those who want to deepen their knowledge of rum and sample unique offerings not found elsewhere in the Czech market.
During the evening, a rum specialist and alcoholologist with years of experience and work as a rum ambassador will guide you. Expect intriguing information and fascinating stories from his visits to distilleries.
The tasting will feature six special samples, including one surprise to be revealed on-site.

The “Classic Cuban” bar, established in 2008, has specialized in rum and its promotion ever since. With a constantly evolving and expanding rum menu, it caters to all rum enthusiasts. The bar is well-known for its rum tastings that offer valuable insights into this spirit.
The cocktail menu reflects modern bar trends, offering a wide selection of drinks that guests can customize to their preferences. The bar uses unique and seasonal ingredients to create distinctive cocktails. Gift vouchers and the organization of corporate parties, stag nights, or birthday celebrations are very popular among guests. A private lounge is available for smaller groups.
The bar’s interior is designed in a simple colonial style with dark wood and authentic photos of Cuba taken during visits to the island. Latin American musicians enhance the atmosphere, and during warm months, a small garden provides a peaceful oasis in the bustling city. Cigars are also available for aficionados.
The evening will start with a welcome drink and continue with water throughout the tasting. Small snacks will accompany the rum samples. The tasting is for adults only, and any guests not purchasing a ticket for the tasting will not be admitted. Don’t miss it!
