Christmas at Prague Zoo is especially magical. From December 24, 2024, to January 1, 2025, visitors can enjoy a diverse program that combines the joy of connecting with nature with the festive holiday atmosphere.
Prague Zoo, one of the oldest and most beautiful zoos in Europe, attracts visitors with its rich collection of animals from around the world and its special Christmas events.
During the holidays, visitors can experience guided animal feedings, during which the animals receive gifts from guests. A unique highlight is the distribution of unsold Christmas trees to the animals from December 27 to 30. Selected species, such as gorillas, elephants, and parrots, will enjoy this unconventional holiday treat daily.
On Christmas Eve and the two following holidays (December 24–26), children under 15 can enter the zoo for just 1 CZK. On New Year’s Day (January 1), all Prague residents can visit for the same symbolic price by showing their Lítačka card or app.
December 24: Christmas Eve – festive atmosphere, special feedings, and gifts for animals.
December 25–26: Christmas holidays with guided animal feedings.
December 27–30: Holiday treats – distribution of Christmas trees to animals.
December 31: Saying goodbye to 2024.
January 1, 2025: New Year’s visit with discounted admission for Prague residents.
