Fans of anime, manga, and Japanese pop culture shouldn’t miss Akicon, which will take place in Prague from October 23 to 25.
This year’s edition focuses on sports anime and will offer a program for fans of Japanese animation as well as those who are just getting to know this aspect of Japanese culture. Visitors can look forward to cosplay, contests, meetups with other fans, and Artist Alley, where creators showcase and sell their own illustrations and other original works.
There will also be themed program blocks and activities inspired by popular anime worlds.
Akicon is first and foremost a community festival where it’s not just about watching the program, but also about sharing common interests, meeting new people, and having the chance to express your own creativity in various ways.
If you’re a fan of anime, manga, or Japanese pop culture, don’t hesitate—come visit Akicon!
