Exhibition of Gregor Hildebrandt

The first solo exhibition of German artist Gregor Hildebrandt in the Czech Republic will take place from 29 September 2022 to 13 February 2023 at Kunsthalle Prague.

Mystery, Music and Poetry of Berlin. Discover the world of German artist Gregor Hildebrandt. More than eighty works inhabit the artist’s analogue universe, from the smell of old vinyl to monumental installations. The show of dark visual poetry at Kunsthalle Prague is the first ever solo exhibition of Gregor Hildebrandt in the Czech Republic.

Poetically titled A Blink of an Eye and the Years are Behind Us, the exhibition is the largest show of works by Berlin-based artist Gregor Hildebrandt in the world to date. It will be on view at Kunsthalle Prague for five months – from 29 September 2022 to 13 February 2023.

The exhibition A Blink of an Eye and the Years are Behind Us will be guided by its curator Christelle Havranek. Let her tell you about the unbearable passage of time and its halt in the form of nostalgic memories carried by analogue media. Peek into an authentic replica of Hildebrandt’s Berlin showroom – the so-called Grzegorzki Shows – inside the main exhibition & experience the artist’s mysterious visual poetry up close!
