Farmers’ Market at Náplavka

Starting February 1, 2025, the traditional Náplavka Farmers’ Market will take place every Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Rašínovo nábřeží in Prague 2. This is one of the largest farmers’ markets in the Czech Republic.

This popular event attracts visitors with its atmosphere, hosting over 90 vendors offering high-quality local products, including a wide selection of seasonal vegetables, fresh fruit, meat, sausages, dairy products, farm-fresh eggs, and baked goods. The market is not only an ideal place to buy fresh farm produce but also to support sustainable shopping habits.

Náplavka is renowned for its diverse offerings, including ethical cosmetics, original creations, and artisanal products. The market’s lively atmosphere is enhanced by live music and a rich selection of refreshments, including coffee made by skilled baristas. Visitors are encouraged to adopt an eco-friendly approach—bringing their own containers and bags, using returnable cups, and opting for environmentally friendly packaging instead of plastics.

In addition, the Náplavka Farmers’ Market often features special celebrations, such as Růžový máj or Svatomartinské slavnosti, offering themed products and activities. Established in 2009 by the Archetyp association, this market provides an opportunity for local farmers, organic farms, and small producers to present their goods to the public in the city center while promoting ecological and local shopping.
