Steam Locomotive Festival

Steam Locomotive Festival 2022. The third edition of the Steam Locomotive Festival “STEAM 53” is coming back to Benešov and will take place on 9 – 11 September 2022.

After three years, the festival returns to Benešov, where the first edition took place. This year you can also look forward to locomotives from the Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland. Every day we are working on preparing a varied programme for the 3rd edition of the Festival and negotiating the transport of attractive and interesting exhibits to the Benesov depot. We are also preparing the traditionally very interesting star rides of special trains in the vicinity of Benešov. The patron of the Steam Locomotive Festival this year will be the great railway lover Olga Menzelová.

**Festival Programme**

**Friday**
Opening of the festival with a ride on the protocol train – The protocol train will depart from Prague Vršovice at 13:09 on Friday 9 September 2022. The train route is planned to pass through Prague Branik, Davli, Jílové u Prahy, Čerčany and ends in Benešov u Prahy.

**Saturday**
