Festival of Embassies Food and Culture

Would you like to travel the world and taste all its delicacies in one place? You have this unique opportunity at the Embassy Food and Culture Festival on Saturday 07 June at Victory Square!

This year is the eighth edition of the unique Embassy Food & Culture Festival. It is the largest international street food festival, where presentations of individual countries are mainly provided by their embassies, honorary consulates or chambers of commerce. A total of 55 countries participated in last year’s edition.

Original dishes will be prepared at the stands of each country, often with the participation of well-known chefs, and in rare cases, the ambassadors themselves or their wives are involved in the preparation. All the offer is adapted to the idea of the Farmers’ Market to bring quality ingredients for quality gastronomy. Various drinks, ice creams, sweets and desserts will also be available.

The festival will again include a rich cultural programme. Last year’s festival featured African drum performances, Thai folk dances, K-pop dance from South Korea, traditional choirs from Slovenia, Kosovo, Moldova and Mongolia, puppet shows from Brazil and more.

The ambassadors will attend the event in person. In terms of the number of participating countries, this is an exceptional event in our country. The organisers of the Festival of Embassies are the Municipal District of Prague 6 and the registered association Farmers’ Markets, the organiser of the Markets at Kulat’ák.

Last year’s edition was attended by a record 20,000 visitors.
