NN Ultrabalaton Run

In 2026, the NN Ultrabalaton celebrates its 20th edition, becoming one of the largest and most iconic community sports events in Central Europe. The race is a single-loop 209 km run around Lake Balaton, completed either solo or in teams of 2–13 runners.

The race center is located near the Annagora Aquapark, where participants start their journey around the lake. The route has been improved over the years, now mostly following safe cycling paths.

The challenge

The 209 km distance is a serious test of endurance:

• Solo runners: 31-hour time limit
• Teams: 27-hour time limit
• More than 50 relay and refreshment points
• Continuous support along the course

For solo runners, it’s a personal endurance challenge; for teams, it’s all about strategy, teamwork and coordination.
