Óbuda Ground

A brand-new outdoor family venue is opening on Children’s Day at Óbudai-sziget. The Óbudai Grund Children’s Sports & Play Park will welcome families with a full day of activities, sports and games on May 31.

The opening event transforms the riverside area into a large outdoor experience park for children. One of the main attractions will be the special Ovi-Sport multifunctional sports field, designed specifically for kids to discover movement and sports through playful activities in a safe environment.

Visitors can also explore 12 different play and adventure elements, which will continue changing throughout the season, meaning returning families can always discover something new.

Programs include:
• arts & crafts workshops
• skill games
• sports activities
• obstacle courses
• pirate ship playground
• HopCity inflatable park
• outdoor family activities

The event focuses on active outdoor experiences for children while giving families a relaxing community space close to the Danube and surrounded by greenery.

The sports field and most children’s programs are free to attend. The HopCity inflatable park requires a separate ticket, with discounted entry available for residents of Budapest’s 3rd district.

Following the opening day, additional family Sundays will continue throughout the summer and early autumn.
