On September 6, running will once again take over the streets of Budapest as the 41st Wizz Air Budapest Half Marathon takes place, marking the opening event of BSI’s autumn running season!
Thousands of Hungarian and international runners will take part in one of Hungary’s most popular half marathons, running along a scenic route through some of the most beautiful parts of Budapest. The main event is the classic 21.1 km half marathon, which can be completed individually, as a pair, or as part of a trio. The event is also a great choice for those who are not yet ready for a full half marathon, as shorter distances are available as well.
The unique atmosphere of the race is created by live music points, enthusiastic supporters, and stunning views of Budapest. The route also passes several UNESCO World Heritage sites, allowing participants to discover some of the city’s most beautiful landmarks while running.
