Kiscsillag concert

The band Kiscsillag probably needs no introduction. This summer season will start on 6 June in Budapest, right in the heart of the city. Don’t miss one of the most popular representatives of Hungarian festivals and club concerts.

The band Kiscsillag, which defined itself as a hobby garage band when it was formed in 2005, is now Hungary’s premier alt-rock band. The songs, always guitar-based but incorporating many different stylistic features, the dynamic performance, Lovasi’s emblematic lyrics and the polyphonic vocal themes that appeared in the band’s last years have made Kiscsillag one of the most characteristic, unique, boldly experimental and year after year renewing productions. In the current line-up, the two founders, Gábor Leskovics (PUF) and András Lovasi (Kispál und a Borz), are joined by Dávid Szesztay, who has now risen to the level of singer-songwriter-multi-instrumentalist, Imre Hajba, who joined the group this year, on bass guitar, and Ferenc Bajkai on drums. At the summer concerts in 2024, the band will perform some of the songs from the forthcoming new album.
