The Budapest Ritmo Festival 2023 will bring the music of the world to the heart of the city centre between 12 and 15 April. This time, audiences will be able to immerse themselves in Ritmo’s own music-themed films and documentaries at the Toldi cinema. In addition, the screenings will be accompanied by talks and concerts, allowing viewers to take in the whole festival experience.
Dive deep into the cultural context, audiovisual treats and new talent at the screenings in Toldi.
Friday offers last year’s awarded Ritmo shorts, and this year’s winner, along two unique documentaries on Tamikest and klapa.
Saturday is all about female voices: meet the brave Iranian female singers defying oppression, Setu legend Hilana Taarka and the one and only Cesária Évora. Talks and concerts connected to the films make for a complete Ritmo experience.
