Coffee Bazaar

April couldn’t start better than with the thirteenth Coffee Bazaar, the defining event of the Hungarian coffee and bar world. The two-day event will feature a wide range of activities for visitors, including a professional barista competition, workshops, demonstrations, guided tastings and professional forum discussions. In addition, you’ll be able to taste the products of more than forty exhibitors; coffees, wines, beers, spirits and other drink specialities.

On Saturday, we will host the Pro Cup Tasters Championship, where professional baristas will compete and the winner will be flown to Athens for the World of Coffee expo in June.
On Sunday, the Amateur Cup Tasters Championship will be held under the professional rules for our non-professional cup tasting competitors, with a cash prize and valuable gifts for the winner.
Also on Sunday, the ALPRO Plant-Based Coffee Championship will be held for teams of three and individuals, with prizes and cash prizes for the winners.
In the CAFÉ&BAR STAGE area, guests will be able to visit our exhibitors’ demonstrations and workshops, with guided tastings on both days.
In addition, professional forum discussions, various stand programmes and many other accompanying events are being organised for the first weekend in April, the biggest local coffee and bar event of the year.
Both professionals and consumers are welcome to Budapest’s largest coffee bar, where, in addition to tastings, there will also be an opportunity to shop at the stands.

Online ticket sales will start in early February and close on 30 March.
