Bem Cinema is organizing a film month in November on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of José Saramago, the Nobel Prize-winning Portuguese writer. The audience can watch works based on the artist’s works and a documentary about the Nobel Prize for Literature. On Thursday, November 10, the extraordinary Canadian-Spanish thriller “Enemy” will be screened.

Adam is grumpy, a man to himself. He teaches history at the University of Toronto, and his only human connection outside of the students is his girlfriend Mary, although the time he spends with her is almost exclusively limited to sex. When he watches a movie on the recommendation of one of his colleagues, he is shocked to discover that the actor playing the lead role is his perfect counterpart. Adam feels an overwhelming desire to meet Anthony. They soon find themselves becoming bizarrely intertwined in their lives.

Every Thursday in November, the screenings start at 6 p.m., with Hungarian subtitles, and admission is free.
