Cat Museum Budapest

The Cat Museum, located in District V, offers really imaginative programs for visitors all year round that are popular with various age groups.

You can participate in informative and playful programs, explore the painting exhibition or even search for souvenirs in the gift shop. The main attraction of the interactive museum is that you can do all this in the purring, relaxing company of special cat breeds. It can be a perfect one and a half hour program for families, groups of friends, or even a date.

On the site, visitors can see a painting exhibition in the company of eight very friendly and beautiful cats, who can be played with in compliance with the house rules (there is a whole range of cat furniture and toys on the site) or can even feed them with the displayed food. Most of the kittens are still young, so there are also smaller ones that will melt the hearts of both children and adults.

In the meantime, you can read a lot of interesting facts about cats on the information boards on the walls (all in Hungarian and English) and participate in a guessing game, as well as fill out the tablet quiz. In case of successful completion, you can even receive a prize. In addition to these, a picture puzzle task, rotatable species guessing equipment and film screening are also available.
