On 11 May, at the first Little Garden of the season, Budapest Park will once again be transformed into a real magic empire, where children can get involved in amazing adventures! One of the capital’s most popular open-air entertainment venues will again be in the mood for the little ones, as this Saturday the children will be in the spotlight.

The all-day event on Juli Fábián Square promises to be a magical adventure where all the family can enjoy games, music, creativity and movement.

Among the afternoon’s highlights is Uncle Moha’s interactive musical clown show, which will not only make the audience laugh, but also actively engage them. The youngest children will enjoy a storytelling show by the Roundabout, where Hungarian folk traditions and nursery rhymes will be brought to life in a joint singing and movement show. The highlight of the day will be the concert of the Veronaki Orchestra, which will create a special atmosphere with melodies of Hungarian folk and world music, enchanting not only the children but also the parents.

In addition to the stage performances, there are things to discover in every corner of the park. Face painting, building motorised LEGO figures, arts and crafts, a Playmobil play corner and a musical play area by Hangolóra ensure that every child will find something to keep them occupied. Traditionalists can try out the folk wooden toys and the corn crib, while the little ones can enjoy the baby play area and baby kitchen. Sporty children will be entertained by the Ferencváros sports games, while the Budapest Park colouring corner will provide entertainment for those who prefer quieter relaxation.

The event is entirely cash-free, and payment in the park is only possible with a credit card or the FestiPay card, which can be requested on the spot. Cash donations are also possible at some of the contributors. The organisers are also prepared in case of rain: the event will be held in case of bad weather and rain ponchos can be purchased on site. Every year, the Pöttömkert is an occasion where not only children can have fun, but also parents can enjoy the joy of playing and experiencing together.
