Judit Halász: Csiribiri

Beloved by generations, Judit Halász welcomes children and families to a special concert. During the Csiribiri performance, some of the most well-known and beloved songs from the artist’s decades-long career will be performed, offering familiar melodies not only for children but also for their parents and grandparents.

Alongside her acting career, Judit Halász has created a unique style as a performer: for decades, she has been singing poems by Hungarian poets, set to music by some of the finest composers and musicians of Hungarian popular music. Generations have grown up listening to her songs, and her concerts remain a popular choice for family outings.

The Csiribiri concert features a selection from the music of the full-length concert film made with Judit Halász. The programme includes some of her most popular songs, showcasing her unique career and the special world where Hungarian poetry, music and entertainment for children come together.

The performance is about more than simply entertainment. One of Judit Halász’s most important missions is to bring Hungarian poetry closer to children while introducing them, in a playful and engaging way, to important values such as love, caring for one another, human relationships and shared responsibility.

Another special aspect of the concert is that, after releasing 18 albums, Judit Halász starred in her first full-length concert film, from which the music for the Csiribiri stage performance is also drawn. Her most recent studio album, A vitéz, a kalóz, meg a nagymama, was released in autumn 2021, followed by the compilation album Miénk a világ in 2022.

The 60-minute concert without an intermission is an ideal choice for a family outing: it is fun and easy for young children to enjoy, while also offering adults a nostalgic experience.
